Fernández called Rosario Central evaluation an act of honesty

Buenos Aires, November 26 (NA) — Former Argentine President Alberto Fernández referred this Tuesday to the controversy over the recognition of Rosario Central in the lead-up to the match against Estudiantes and affirmed that evaluating the Rosario team's campaign "is an act of intellectual honesty," given that "it is first with several points difference" and "has been the best."

"He won us two America's Cups and one World Cup," he stated.

"I don't think what they did was right," he affirmed.

"I admit that everything is confusing," he noted.

Fernández also questioned the "back-to-back corridor" gesture made by Estudiantes and emphasized that he does not agree with that type of demonstration.

"I never used football for my own purposes," he concluded.

"The truth is that his management is much better than I thought it was going to be," stated Fernández.
